`Live Entertainment at New Meeting`as part of the Kidderminster Arts Festival (KAF).with Chloe of the Midnight Story Tellers:`Scheherazade`s Shed`

Well, what a night! We were promised comedy, pathos, story-telling for adults, cabaret, poetry and a feminist perspective. Chloe and the team certainly delivered. In the fading dusk of our wonderful New Meeting setting, we were led on an enchanting trail of eastern promise, intrigue, comical adventure and mystique. Where else in Kidderminster would you experience an audience that can collectively contribute to a compelling story involving love, Star Trek, acme and trans gender ?

This was a tremendous night arranged together with the excellent organisers of the KAF fortnight. Chloe was superb, and the three support poets and story tellers sublime. This event was an example of how being a direct part of our extended local community really does bring benefits for all. We very much hope to develop these links in the future.

`Chloe , mid-story, at New Meeting`.

Also performing on the night was Worcestershire Poet Laureate for 2015, Heather Wastie. Check her out at www.wastiesspace.co.uk.  plus, Nigel Knowles, a Kidderminster Councillor and Roy Peacock, Stourbridge Historian.

Christmas Panto and Party

There is nothing quite like the live entertainment offered up at the Kidderminster Palladium each Christmas, here at New Meeting. For the best and most unforgettable Christmas Show in town, book early once the `Show Date` is finalised. This show always sells out (and not just out of sympathy !). New Meetings` own performers have traveled the world for their art, so for one night only, this never knowingly understated event offers the chance to view huge talent in one small space, working through a humbling script. More information anon ! For more information contact Ash James on the contact page.
